America's second oldest horse racing track, the Fair Grounds has been a New Orleans staple since 1852. We are a premiere entertainment venue presenting thoroughbred & exotic animal races, slots, video poker and simulcasting year-round. Located in New Orleans, Fair Grounds operates a slot-machine gaming facility and 13 off-track betting parlors throughout southeast Louisiana.

Responsible for improving customer service, developing and implementing new promotions and maintaining and cultivating relationships with VIP customers.

• Market and recruit new guests and other customers to property.
• Monitor visitation and play of VIP guests and walk the Slot floor regularly to provide customer service and assistance.
• Respond to guest’s requests, questions or concerns in an immediate and attentive fashion using detailed precision.
• Prepare for guests visits and follow-up throughout and after departure, maintaining contact to ensure return visits.
• Tele-market various player lists for contacting, attracting and information gathering purposes.
• Attend special events and promotions to build guest rapport and create recognition amongst guests.
• Determine player eligibility of complimentary services by analyzing player accounts while maintaining management reinvestment guidelines.
• Maintain current, accurate player account information in Oasis to insure database integrity and privacy.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Must be 21 years or older. Must be able to obtain a Gaming and Racing License from Louisiana Racing Commission.

1-2 years of experience. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from team members, regulatory agencies or members of the staff.

Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner. Ability to perform normal mathematical computations in regard to the implementation of current duties. Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draws valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.
