We are hiring for one of our prime clients seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician II to support concrete and construction materials testing across plant and field operations.

Role Overview

The Quality Control Technician II will collect samples from job sites and batch plants while performing laboratory and field testing to ensure concrete and aggregate products meet required specifications. This role supports DOT product approvals, assists in mix design development and maintenance, and collaborates with production and management teams to deliver high-quality materials for construction projects.

Key Qualifications Education
  • Associate’s Degree required
  • Preferred Field of Study:
    Construction Management or related discipline
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant quality control or construction materials testing experience
Certifications
  • ACI and/or NRMCA Certifications required
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Experience with Command, Quadrel, Google applications, and SAP
  • Strong understanding of ASTM specifications and testing procedures for concrete
  • Knowledge of DOT specifications and testing procedures for aggregates and concrete
  • Experience with mix design development, submittals, and maintenance

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs over uneven ground for extended distances
  • Comfortable working in both laboratory and field environments
  • Availability to complete required post-offer screenings in accordance with role requirements

  • Adherence to required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirator compliance where applicable
