As a Sr. Reliability Engineer here at Solstice Advanced Materials
, you will lead initiatives to enhance the reliability, availability, and maintainability of chemical plant equipment. This includes developing and implementing strategies for maintenance, analyzing equipment failures, and driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights and a proactive approach to problem-solving
You will report directly to our Reliability Manager, and you’ll work out of our Geismar, LA location on 9/80 work schedule.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define, track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Lifecycle Cost
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reliability improvements and incorporate reliability in all phases of the equipment lifecycle
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to address underlying causes of equipment failures
- Ensure all reliability activities comply with environmental, safety and regulatory requirements. Promote a culture of reliability and safety excellence
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- 6+ years of experience in reliability engineering in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Fixed Equipment. Knowledge of NDE techniques and ASME/API codes
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) Facilities

- Professional Reliability Certification – CRE, SMRP

COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position is $121k - $153k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities or the position, the candidate's work experience education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
