** What You'll Be Doing*
* ** Job Scope:
** Generally responsible for planning turnarounds. Work will be performed under minimal supervision.
** Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:*
* + Lead assigned portion of outage scope through planning and construction
+ Develop scope for assigned work orders within the outage, identifying secondary and/or support disciplines required.
+ Create detailed planning activities in SAP for each work order utilizing planning templates as applicable.
+ Activities include individual tasks, manpower, durations, and assigned discipline.
+ Provide daily schedule updates during outage execution.
+ Create job planning packages for each work order per guidelines for both internal and external distribution, e.g., bid events, contractor field personnel, etc. Packages may include pictures, P&IDs, BOMs, tools, safe work procedures, applicable standards, QC requirements, etc.
+ Support Management of Change process, recognizing plant changes and following through on all documentation and recommendations in a timely manner. Provide contractor field management in all outage phases for assigned contractors, including safety, timesheet verification, field oversight, change orders, and QC verification.
+ Uphold and communicate high standards of housekeeping in assigned areas and on all job sites.
+ Conduct frequent formal housekeeping inspections of plant areas.
+ Complete close out and documentation as required by standards and procedures.
+ Safety oriented and unwilling to compromise on safety rules, processes, and procedures
+ Strong organizational, interpersonal, and planning skills.
+ Strong leadership abilities.
+ Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Work requires working from heights, climbing fixed ladders, and stairs, etc.
+ Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
+ Understands quality standards as outlined by site.
** Ideal Background*

* Education:
** High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Construction Science, Building Science or related field is highly preferred.
** Certification:
** AACE International or Project Management Institute (PMI) certification is preferred.

* Experience:
** This position requires 5+ years of relevant industrial experience in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating.
*
* Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
*
* + Knowledge and application of company business standards and good practices.
+ Extreme attention to detail.
+ Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the function of all engineering disciplines.
+ Understanding of existing and potential customer deliverable expectations and preferences.
+ Ability to set priorities.
+ Ability to effectively discuss and correspond with engineering disciplines and/or contractors to ascertain and understand pertinent information concerning schedules, scopes of work, estimates and/or project costs.
+ Coaching and mentoring skills and experience.
+ Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Excellent presentation skills.
+ Excellent organizational skills.
+ Knowledge of other disciplines deliverable development to ensure coordination of efforts.
+ Knowledge and understanding of schedule constraints and information requirements for the production of all project controls deliverables.
+ Experienced in scheduling professional service hours and assessing the progress and quality of project controls work. Ability to accurately estimate completion of assigned tasks.
+ Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software.
+ Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
