Position Specific Description
Join the groundbreaking effort to restart Duane Arnold Energy Center. As a Corrective Action Program Performance Analyst, you'll be essential to this historic project, establishing the systematic processes for identifying, evaluating, and resolving plant conditions that impact nuclear safety, quality, and operations. Your analytical expertise will support restart readiness by trending performance indicators, coordinating condition reports, and ensuring timely resolution of issues critical to regulatory approvals and system restoration.
You'll collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, and regulatory affairs teams to tackle unique challenges in reestablishing a robust corrective action program for a plant transitioning from decommissioning to operations. This is your opportunity to apply your nuclear experience and analytical skills to build the performance infrastructure for a transformational project powering Iowa's clean energy future. This is a full time project bound role with expected duration through June 2028.
Overview
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Leads or participates in assessments to find and improve performance gaps
- Coordinates and facilitates procedure development, revision, and review
- Participates in root cause investigations related to corrective action and human performance errors
- Develops tracking and evaluating indicators
- Trains colleagues on performance improvement initiatives
- Facilitates screening of corrective actions
- Assists with the planning and implementation of self-assessments
- Collects and analyzes data to evaluate proper implementation and effectiveness of programs and maintains industry and site performance indicators
- Prepares reports and communicates status of improvements for management
- Ensures operating experience is screened and evaluated and corrective actions taken to address opportunities identified
- May provide technical direction to less experienced performance coordinators
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned

- Senior Reactor Operator Certification
