Highland Community School District is seeking a motivated and student-centered individual to serve as the High School Student Council Sponsor . The sponsor will advise and support the student council in planning school events, developing student leadership, and promoting a positive school culture.

• Advise and mentor the High School Student Council members
• Facilitate regular student council meetings
• Assist students in planning and organizing school events such as:
• Homecoming activities
• Spirit weeks
• School dances
• Community service projects
• School-wide initiatives
• Oversee student council budgeting and fundraising efforts
• Coordinate with school administration and staff regarding activities and events
• Supervise events and ensure adherence to school policies
• Promote leadership, teamwork, and civic responsibility among students

• Current staff member preferred (teacher or school employee)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with students and staff
• Passion for student leadership and school engagement
• Availability for meetings and events outside of regular school hours
