Position Summary
The Department of Counseling at LSUHSC
-NO invites applications for an Assistant Professor-Clinical position in its CACREP
-accredited master’s program in Counseling.
The successful candidate will:
- Teach graduate-level courses in the department with a typical 3:3:2 course load
- Develop and maintain an active research and publication agenda
- Supervise and advise master’s-level counseling students
- Maintain a clinical caseload at the department’s Child and Family Counseling Clinic ( CFCC )
- Contribute service to the department, school, and university through committee work, program development, and community engagement
- Graduate-level teaching experience in both in-person and remote formats
- Active engagement in research and scholarly activities
- Ongoing clinical service and professional advocacy
- Membership in professional counseling organizations, including holding leadership roles or affiliations that reflect dedication to the field

The LSUHSC Department of Counseling is strongly committed to continuing its reputation

members, grants a Master of Health Sciences degree in Counseling, and houses an on site
