Position: School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Prairieville, Louisiana
Location: Prairieville

A full‑time Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting in Prairieville, LA, for the upcoming contract from February 2, 2026, to May 22, 2026. This opportunity involves working primarily with high school students within a diverse K‑12 caseload of approximately 50 students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' specific communication needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and other school staff to provide integrated support for student success.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
  • Participate in meetings, parent conferences, and provide recommendations for additional services or interventions.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Active Louisiana Speech‑Language Pathologist license.
  • Valid Louisiana teaching certificate.
  • Strong experience working with school‑aged children, preferably in a high school environment.
  • Familiarity with school‑based speech therapy practices and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and school personnel.
