SVDP NOLA Project - Adult Education VISTA

The SVDP VISTA Project strengthens long-term pathways out of poverty by expanding adult education, workforce development, community assistance systems, and organizational sustainability across Southeast Louisiana. VISTA members will build capacity by developing curricula and tools, improving referral and data systems, supporting outreach and partnerships, and creating infrastructure that enhances SVDP’s ability to serve low‑income residents.

The Ameri Corps member will expand the capacity of the Adult Learning Center by developing curriculum materials, digital learning tools, and structured resources that support adult learners. The member will create outreach strategies and materials to increase access to educational opportunities and strengthen referral pathways. They will also build sustainable data systems to track enrollment, attendance, and learner outcomes, analyze trends to inform improvements, and document processes to ensure long‑term program continuity.

This work will strengthen educational pathways that support economic mobility and long‑term poverty reduction.
