QualificationsMinimum requirements:
Bachelor's Degree with a major in Recreation, Parks Administration, Leisure Activities, Health, Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, or a closely related field.
OR: A Bachelor's degree in any field
* and nine (9) months of full‑time experience in recreation event planning, volunteer staff recruitment and coordination, or recreation activity coordination.
Prior to appointment, the hiring agency must verify the education claimed. If hired, applicants must provide original documents of their qualifying credentials before their start date. Experience credit is only given for experience gained within the last ten (10) years.
