STCW Training Instructor – FMTC Safety in Gray, LA is seeking a knowledgeable, safety‑focused STCW Instructor to join our maritime training team. Our Gray location supports mariners, offshore personnel, and emergency‑response professionals across the Gulf Coast, delivering internationally recognized training that prepares students for real‑world conditions. We’re looking for an instructor who brings strong operational experience, clear communication, and a passion for developing competent, confident seafarers.

• As an STCW Instructor, deliver courses such as Personal Survival Techniques (PST), Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities (PSSR), Elementary First Aid (EFA), and Fire Prevention & Firefighting (FPFF).
• Guide trainees through both classroom instruction and hands‑on practical evolutions using our survival pool, firefighting grounds, rescue equipment, and dedicated training facilities.
• Maintain professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
