Overview
Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) requires that its undergraduate students complete 60 hours of community service-learning as a requirement of graduation, which does not include the School of Social Work. The Community Service-Learning Coordinator is responsible for creating and managing student community service experiences linked to academic majors and career paths, ensuring that students gain meaningful, real-world learning opportunities. This position works closely with the Office of Career Services to connect students with service opportunities that align with their professional and academic goals.
The coordinator will also manage the registration and tracking of student participation through Canvas, supporting students in developing skills that enhance their academic growth and future career prospects.
