Position Summary: The Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) School of Dentistry in New Orleans invites applications for an immediate opening as a full-time, tenure track, Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics. The department has a strong pre-doctoral and post-doctoral curriculum. We are seeking a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics who is an outstanding educator and will engage in didactic pre-clinical and clinical instruction for undergraduate dental, dental hygiene and postgraduate students, as well as in research activity.
Opportunity to participate in the dental school’s faculty practice is also available.
Academic appointment and salary will be commensurate with training and experience.

Advanced education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)

Eligible for licensure by the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry

Certifications/Licenses Preferred: American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) certification
Preferred Experience: A record of scholarly achievement (required for tenured/tenure track position) and experience teaching and mentoring students.
