Position Summary:
The Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, School of Medicine in New Orleans is seeking candidates for two (2) academic faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure track) who will contribute to the departmental mission in a team teaching oriented environment.
- Instruct in Gross Anatomy immediately.
- Expertise in Neuroanatomy, Embryology and/or Histology could also be helpful.
- Candidates with experience in cadaveric dissection in a health science center environment will be given prioritized consideration.
- Teaching duties may be assigned within the multiple health professional schools of the LSU Health Sciences Center (Medicine, Dentistry, Allied Health, Nursing and Graduate).
- Successful candidates will also be expected to participate in scholarly research, preferably but not restricted to, educational research.
- We are looking for dedicated educators.
