Position Summary The LSU Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Section of Pulmonary and Critical Care in New Orleans, seeks board certified / board eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care physicians to join our faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine (non-tenure, clinical track). the successful candidates will work a combination of services including the intensive care unit, inpatient pulmonary consult service, and outpatient clinic.
These positions will be responsible for patient care and ensuring high level clinical education for UME and GME learners. In all care areas, the successful candidates will maintain excellence in patient care, teaching, and research integrity. Academic appointment will be commensurate with professional achievement. Current trainees or junior faculty with an excellent track record of critical care delivery are strongly encouraged to apply.
