Position Summary
The LSUHSC Department of Family Medicine is seeking a Family Medicine physician for an academic faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure, clinical track); rank to be commensurate with candidate’s credentials and experience. Primary responsibilities include outpatient community-based clinical care with opportunities at multiple sites, including care of vulnerable patient populations and supervision of medical students.
Other duties may include didactic teaching of residents and medical students and contributing to departmental scholarly activity. Flexible duties may include other departmental services, such as behavioral health call, providing nursing home care, consultative care, hospital care, or community contracts.
