Position Overview
The Department of Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) invites applications for faculty positions at all academic ranks. We seek highly skilled clinicians who are committed to providing excellent patient-centered care and contributing to the department’s vision of becoming a leading academic medical center. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, integrity, and a commitment to teaching, research, and service.

- Provide clinical care in VUMC’s emergency departments, including the adult and pediatric Level I trauma centers, and affiliated hospitals.
- Engage in educational activities, including training residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical settings.
- Participate in academic research, with opportunities for involvement in funded projects through the NIH/NHLBI VISTA T32 program, focusing on hospital-based care for heart, lung, blood, and sleep disorders.
- Contribute to division-specific initiatives in areas such as global health, simulation, operations, and emergency medicine research.

Qualifications- Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine.
- Experience or interest in academic medicine, including clinical operations, education, and research.
- Expertise in global health, simulation, operations, or research is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
