Interventional Cardiologist – Assistant or Associate Professor

Tulane University School of Medicine’s Section of Cardiology is seeking a qualified Interventional Cardiologist to join its faculty as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine.

• Clinical duties:
  Interventional Cardiology coverage at Tulane Medical Center, University Medical Center New Orleans, and the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System Medical Center (dependent on residency status). Contributions to outpatient clinic and outreach sites as assigned. Active participation in the development of interventional programs and in the group’s vision of expansion at the above medical centers. After‑hours and weekend interventional coverage in rotation with other faculty.
• Teaching duties:
  Formal and informal teaching activities for medicine residents, cardiology and interventional cardiology fellows, and medical students.
• Research duties:
  Develop and participate in clinical and translational research, encourage and mentor residents and fellows to participate. Publication in peer‑review journals is expected, with at least one publication per year encouraged.

Qualified Interventional Cardiologist with experience in interventional cardiology, teaching, and research.
