Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to join its established, academically focused Hematology/Oncology department in New Orleans. This is an opportunity to build a meaningful academic career within one of the nation's most respected research institutions, offering the resources, protected time, and institutional support necessary to advance translational and clinical cancer research. Faculty Role Overview
  • Academic appointment within an established Hematology/Oncology department
  • Minimum 50% protected time for research and scholarly activity
  • Teaching responsibilities across fellows, residents, and medical students
  • Opportunity to lead and author clinical and translational research
  • Robust APP support to optimize clinical efficiency

Research & Academic Focus Areas

Faculty may serve as Primary Author and Clinical Trial Leader in one or more of the following oncology subspecialties:

  • Neuro-Oncology
  • Gastrointestinal Oncology
  • Genitourinary Oncology
  • Breast Oncology
  • Malignant Hematology, including Bone Marrow Transplant
