Physician - IBD Gastroenterologist
Ochsner Health – Ochsner Medical Center, New Orleans
We’re looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our Inflamatory Bowel Disease (IBD) team.
Highlights of the Position- Focus on IBD
- Existing, experienced GI/IBD subspecialist mentor
- Multidisciplinary IBD program with dedicated support (medical assistants, nurses, pharmacists)
- Collaborative support from colorectal surgery, GI pathology, and GI radiology
- Collegial 16-physician GI group including general GIs, hepatologists, GI subspecialists, and advanced endoscopists
- Integrated practice model with strong internal referral network
- GI‑dedicated clinical research infrastructure
- 24/7 reliable hospitalists onsite
- Opportunity to teach – support for GI fellowship and Internal Medicine residency programs
- EPIC electronic record platform throughout the Ochsner Health System
- State Tort Reform
- Salary commensurate with experience and training
