New Orleans, LA:
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Customer Service Representative – Industrial Supplies to provide front-line support and deliver a positive customer experience in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication skills, critical thinking, and a customer-first mindset. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, professional, and thrives in a team setting.

Essential Duties:
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online portals
  • Resolve product or service issues promptly and professionally
  • Provide product information, including availability, pricing, and lead times
  • Assist customers in identifying the correct industrial supplies for their needs
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Enter and process sales orders accurately within the ERP system
  • Review orders for pricing, terms, and credit approval
  • Confirm order details, shipping instructions, and delivery timelines
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely shipment
  • Manage returns and exchanges
  • Assist with inventory checks and stock inquiries
  • Investigate shipping discrepancies and backorders
  • Follow up with customers to ensure full issue resolution
  • Escalate complex issues to management as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and customer records in accounting platforms, Excel, Google Spreadsheets, and CRM systems
  • Provide feedback regarding customer trends to help improve service quality
  • Meet established performance metrics, including response times and customer satisfaction scores
Requirements/

Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM systems
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor and team-oriented attitude
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to occasionally lift to 15 pounds
  • Ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person
