Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Customer Service Representative – Industrial Supplies to provide front-line support and deliver a positive customer experience in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication skills, critical thinking, and a customer-first mindset. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, professional, and thrives in a team setting.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online portals
- Resolve product or service issues promptly and professionally
- Provide product information, including availability, pricing, and lead times
- Assist customers in identifying the correct industrial supplies for their needs
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Enter and process sales orders accurately within the ERP system
- Review orders for pricing, terms, and credit approval
- Confirm order details, shipping instructions, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely shipment
- Manage returns and exchanges
- Assist with inventory checks and stock inquiries
- Investigate shipping discrepancies and backorders
- Follow up with customers to ensure full issue resolution
- Escalate complex issues to management as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and customer records in accounting platforms, Excel, Google Spreadsheets, and CRM systems
- Provide feedback regarding customer trends to help improve service quality
- Meet established performance metrics, including response times and customer satisfaction scores
Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM systems
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Professional demeanor and team-oriented attitude
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to occasionally lift to 15 pounds
- Ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person
