Stagehands & AV Technicians Needed – Convention Work in Birmingham

Location: Birmingham, AL
Show Date: February 10th – 14th
Pay: Starting at $25/hr (based on experience and expenses)
Schedule: Flexible availability required

We’re hiring Stagehands and Audio Visual (AV) Technicians to support a high-profile convention in Birmingham. Join a fast-paced, professional event production team and help bring this major event to life.

Stagehands:

• Assist with event setup and teardown
• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Operate basic lighting and rigging systems
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

AV Technicians:

• Set up and operate audio, video, and lighting equipment
• Troubleshoot technical issues during live events
• Coordinate with production managers and venue staff
• Ensure high-quality sound and visuals throughout the event

• Experience in event production
  , live events
  , concerts
  , or conventions preferred
• Familiarity with AV equipment
  , stage rigging
  , or lighting systems
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must be punctual, professional, and adaptable
