As a recognized builder in the region, we are expanding our team and looking for a Superintendent to lead the day-to-day execution of high-end residential and commercial projects. The Superintendent serves as the on-site leader, owning schedule, quality, safety, and subcontractor coordination. Working closely with the Project Manager, this role ensures projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to JLV's standards of craftsmanship.
Bottom line: if it happens on the jobsite, the Superintendent is accountable.
- Serve as the on-site point person for all construction activities
- Ensure all jobsite activities are executed safely and in compliance with JLV standards and policies at all times
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, code, and company quality standards.
- Maintain daily jobsite cleanliness and organization.
- Coordinate site logistics, including material deliveries, staging, and dumpster placement and replacement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite at all times.
- Ensure proper storage, protection, and handling of materials on site.
- Monitor materials to prevent waste, damage, or loss.
- Verify materials and finishes installed match approved plans and selections.
- Communicate regularly with the Project Manager on progress, issues, and next steps.
- Host daily on-site huddles with subcontractors to align all field parties.
- Lead coordination and scheduling between subcontractors, vendors and labor force.
- Complete daily job logs with photos and provide field updates through the company's construction management platform.
- Track and report daily performance against company metrics and KPIs.
- Lead, motivate, and support field teams while promoting a "can-do" culture.
- Identify risks and challenges early and implement proactive, practical solutions.
- Share accountability for overall project execution and departmental results.
- Participate in daily training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Project Manager in luxury or high-end residential construction
- Strong construction knowledge, including sequencing and trade coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Solid understanding of safety requirements and jobsite precautions.
- Proficient with technology, including smartphone apps, digital reporting tools and project management platforms. Experience with Fortified is a plus.
- Leadership mindset, keeping projects moving and teams aligned.
- Comfortable working in a high-performance environment with a strong focus on quality and client satisfaction.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to plan work, manage priorities, and meet multiple deadlines.
- High attention to detail, ability to identify issues and complete accurate field/repair reports.
- Sound judgment and adaptability, with the ability to make timely, practical decisions in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.

Full-time position - Base salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
