Position OverviewWe are hiring a Traveling Electrical Assistant Project Manager to support electrical construction projects throughout Iowa and nationwide, with a focus on data center construction
. This role supports scheduling, procurement, documentation, estimating assistance, and coordination between field and office teams.
The position includes a strong travel package or the option to relocate and be based in Iowa.
Key Responsibilities- Support Project Managers with daily execution of electrical construction projects
- Assist with scheduling, material purchasing, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
- Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and vendors
- Participate in preconstruction planning, design reviews, and project kickoff meetings
- Help track costs, support change orders, and assist with project reporting
- Gain exposure to data center electrical systems and project workflows
- 1–3+ years of experience in electrical construction, project coordination, or a related role
- Electricians or field professionals seeking to transition into project management are strongly encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Willingness to travel and work on job sites nationwide
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; project management software experience is a plus
