Electrical Assistant Project Manager Data Centers

You’ll gain hands-on experience on large-scale data center electrical projects, work directly with experienced Project Managers, and build the foundation needed to grow into a Project Manager role in the data center space.

We are hiring a Traveling Electrical Assistant Project Manager to support electrical construction projects throughout Iowa and nationwide, with a focus on data center construction
. This role supports scheduling, procurement, documentation, estimating assistance, and coordination between field and office teams.

The position includes a strong travel package or the option to relocate and be based in Iowa.

• Support Project Managers with daily execution of electrical construction projects
• Assist with scheduling, material purchasing, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
• Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and vendors
• Participate in preconstruction planning, design reviews, and project kickoff meetings
• Help track costs, support change orders, and assist with project reporting
• Gain exposure to data center electrical systems and project workflows

• 1–3+ years of experience in electrical construction, project coordination, or a related role
• Electricians or field professionals seeking to transition into project management are strongly encouraged to apply
• Basic understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Willingness to travel and work on job sites nationwide
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; project management software experience is a plus
