JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
The Gas Supply Representative manages more complex procurement activities and regulatory reporting. This role serves as a liaison with suppliers and internal stakeholders, contributing to cost optimization and compliance within regulatory framework while supporting strategic initiatives.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Negotiate short-term supply agreements and monitor market conditions
- Prepare and solicit for gas supply via Requests for Proposal (RFP)
- Evaluate and make recommendations based on proposals
- Prepare and review regulatory filings and cost recovery documentation
- Lead small projects related to gas supply optimization and risk management
- Maintain and analyze ETRM system data for accuracy and reporting
- Collaborate with suppliers, upstream pipelines, and third-party transporters to ensure reliable supply
Minimum education required of the position
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Preferred: advanced degree or industry certifications
- 2–5 years of experience in natural gas supply, trading, or related field
- Familiarity with ETRM systems such as Quorum and pipeline operations
- Strong communication and negotiation skills

- Able to operate a personal computer, either desktop or laptop.
- Able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Able to operate a copy machine, fax machine, calculator, telephone and other miscellaneous office equipment.
- Able to exert up to 10 Lbs. of force occasionally, and /or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push or otherwise move objects.
