! We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Denham Springs, LA area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

• Use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customers’ vehicles.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform other required automotive service or vehicle repairs as needed.

• Be at least 18 years of age;
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States;
• Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
• It is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.

Physical requirements:

Active position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive movements related to vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
