The Administrative Program Coordinator provides operational and administrative support for the Office of Graduate Admissions. This support includes managing initial contact with prospective and admitted students and managing student communications data in the admissions CRM. The position also provides support to the student recruiting staff in graduate admissions and works closely with the graduate admissions team providing operational and administrative support related to on-campus and off-campus recruiting activities.
The position reports to the Assistant Dean of Graduate Admissions.
- Demonstrated ability to interact in a courteous and professional manner in a wide range of professional venues and settings.
- Demonstrated ability to support and maintain a productive, collaborative, and continuous relationship with colleagues in multiple units such as Graduate Admissions, Graduate Programs, and Career Management Center.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively.
- Exceptional skills with the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Basic office budget management that includes the use of Concur or a similar system.
- Experience working with a CRM system.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience in customer service.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience using an ERP system for educational institutions such as Banner.
