Accountant, Accounting Assistant, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 (higher for the right candidate)

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our client's team in the distribution and services sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable, order processing, and, preferably, familiarity with Net Suite. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
• Assist in order processing, including order entry, tracking, and customer communication.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare monthly reconciliations and financial reports.
• Support the implementation and optimization of Net Suite for enhanced financial operations.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors, suppliers, and team members regarding financial transactions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum [2-3] years of experience in accounts payable and order processing.
• Proficiency in Net Suite is highly desirable; experience with other ERP systems will be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
