Location: Epping Forest
Are you a quality professional with deep APQP expertise and a passion for working at the supplier-manufacturing interface? Do you enjoy leading quality frameworks that underpin innovative, next-generation products? If so, we want to hear from you.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a technically advanced organisation operating at the forefront of printed product design and manufacturing. You'll support high-value development and production programmes, ensuring suppliers and internal teams consistently deliver against demanding quality and technical standards.
As a Quality Consultant - APQP Specialist, you will be embedded within a Quality Management Team, providing external-facing quality leadership to suppliers while contributing to critical technical projects. You'll play a key role in applying structured quality methodologies across product development, trials, and production.
Your responsibilities as a Quality Consultant - APQP Specialist:
Provide governance and oversight of supplier Quality Management Systems, including audits and quality reviews.
Lead and facilitate APQP activities across new product introduction and ongoing production.
Contribute to technical projects supporting product design, development, and manufacture.
Ensure the ongoing supply of products that meet robust quality and technical specifications.
Drive structured problem solving and continual improvement activities.
Support operational teams with technical input for inspection and validation of new products.
Your current experience which will help you as a Quality Consultant - APQP Specialist:
Degree-qualified quality professional (or equivalent) with strong experience in APQP and QMS environments.
Proven application of FMEA, SPC, control plans, process flows, and associated quality tools.
Experience managing technical projects within manufacturing or new product development frameworks.
Strong stakeholder management skills across cross-functional internal and external teams.
Confident problem solver with the ability to analyse, interpret, and communicate technical data.
Clear and credible communicator, able to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
What you can expect as a Quality Consultant - APQP Specialist:
Up to £60k pro rata salary, dependent on experience.
12 Month FTC (2/3 Days Per Week)
Loughton, Essex based / Hybrid role.
Company pension.
Holiday allowance: 25 days + bank holidays.
