Location: Chigwell

An established and fast-growing fire compliance contractor is seeking an experienced Passive Fire Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of passive fire protection contracts across London and the South East.

This role offers genuine career progression within a business known for investing heavily in its people and maintaining long-term client relationships, particularly within the public sector and social housing.

The role

You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of reactive and planned passive fire works, ensuring operational excellence, commercial control, and full compliance with fire safety legislation.

Key responsibilities:

* Manage the effective delivery of reactive and PPM passive fire contracts

* Lead, support, and develop supervisors and site teams

* Build strong, collaborative client relationships and deliver excellent customer service

* Oversee pricing, quotations, variations, and invoicing

* Ensure KPIs and service-level agreements are met or exceeded

* Manage procurement of materials and resources

* Ensure best practice in health & safety, legal compliance, and quality assurance

* Mentor and train junior supervisors and engineers

About you

* Minimum 3 years’ experience in contract management

* Strong working knowledge of passive fire protection and fire safety regulations

* FIRAS and/or BM TRADA experience highly desirable

* Confident leader with strong organisational and commercial skills

* IT-literate (Outlook, Excel, Word)

* Professional, client-facing approach
