Senior Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities
– Utilise advanced specialist knowledge to conduct high-quality assessments and recommend appropriate therapeutic interventions.
– Collaborate with children, young people, and staff to develop and implement personalised delivery plans.
– Provide line management, clinical supervision, and mentorship to allocated Occupational Therapists.
– Participate in service and practice development, including facilitating training sessions for staff and parents/carers.
– Promote and facilitate Reflective Practice and prepare high-quality reports.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
– Registered Occupational Therapist with the HCPC.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience working with children and young people.
– Proven experience in supervising other Occupational Therapists.
– Car driver with access to own vehicle.
Desirable Attributes
– Experience with in an educational or residential setting.
– Supervisor qualification.
– Identified area of specialist practice.
