We are recruiting an experienced Site Manager to work on a £2 million social housing kitchen and bathroom refurbishment contract based in Epping, Essex.

This is a permanent Site Manager role overseeing a high-volume planned maintenance programme, delivering kitchen and bathroom replacements in occupied social housing properties.

The successful Site Manager will manage subcontractors, control programme delivery, and ensure all works are completed safely, on time and to a high standard.

Headline of the Site Manager role

* Day-to-day management of a social housing kitchen and bathroom refurbishment contract

* Managing subcontractors including carpenters, plumbers, electricians, tilers and decorators

* Delivering a programme opening up 8 kitchens per week

* Working within occupied social housing properties

* Ensuring health & safety compliance across all site activities

* Managing RAMS, permits, site documentation and reporting

* Coordinating labour, materials and site logistics

* Maintaining programme, quality control and snagging

* Managing resident liaison and customer care

* Reporting progress to Project Managers and clients

* Ensuring works meet client, contract and compliance standards

Essential Experience – Site Manager

Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing

Experience delivering kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects

Strong background in planned maintenance or refurbishment

Experience managing subcontractors and multi-trade teams

Experience working in occupied properties

Strong knowledge of health & safety and quality control

Excellent organisation, leadership and communication skills

Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

Your key duties as Site Manager

* Ensuring quality working towards quality standards

* Co-ordinate labour and trades

* Monitor and support the K&B programme and control material levels

* Work with and assist a supportive site team

* Liaise and work closely with the Project RLO

Key experiences you should have as Site Manager

* Solid work history of delivering Kitchen and Bathroom planned works

* Be a great communicator with the ability to support your site team

* Developing knowledge of Social Housing works

* Ideally be from a trade background or have developed skills from activity being on live projects

* Great customer service skills and the ability to deliver on new homeowners’ expectations
