Material Handler, Forklift Operator
Working as part of the Warehouse team, the Nights Material Handler plays a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and loaded to a high standard. This position is vital in delivering a right‑first‑time service and consistently meeting our customer service excellence standards. The role also involves providing backup packing support for the Day shift when time allows, contributing to the smooth running of our wider Operations department.

- Ensure stock materials and orders are accurately picked, double checked, packed, and loaded according to standards.
- Adhere to all set‑out processes of picking from the correct locations.
- Safely transport finished items from the drop zone area of the Warehouse into the packing area and pack when required.
- Load packed items onto our own fleet of vehicles, ensuring safe practices are adhered to.
- Report any incidents such as Near Misses in line with company policy.
- Complete all paperwork requirements, ensuring goods are counted and labelled correctly before loading.
- Keep the work areas clean and tidy.
- Must hold an up‑to‑date Counterbalance or Reach FLT licence.
- Previous experience of warehouse understanding and its environment is desirable.
- Understanding of plastic products would be advantageous but is not essential.

- Salary – £15 per hour (Reviewed after a successful probation)
