HGV Class 1 Drivers - Nights (Barrow upon Soar, LE12 8GB
)
Employer: XPO Logistics (on behalf of British Gypsum)
Contract Type: Ongoing, with pre‑booked weekday shifts
Location: Barrow upon Soar, Leicestershire
💰Pay & Schedule
- Rate: £16.63 per hour (night rate)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Start Times: Between 16:00 - 18:00
- Rate Review: Increase after 13 weeks
Role Overview
- Depot‑to‑depot trunking (no handball)
- UK‑wide routes
- Open to newly qualified drivers with at least 6 months Class 1 experience
Fleet & Training
- Modern fleet with full telematics
- HIAB and CPC upskilling opportunities available
Requirements
- Full UK Class C+E (HGV Class
1) licence - Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience
- Relevant experience depending on shift pattern
