We’re proud of the creativity, courage and care that runs through everything we do and we’re looking for someone who shares that same energy.

The Role

We are looking for an Assistant Buyer to join our Product team, reporting directly into our Buyer. This is a unique opportunity as an assistant buyer within a brand to be involved in multiple stages of the product lifecycle from the earliest design concepts through to final fits, photoshoots and promotion.

You’ll play an important role in progressing our product from idea to reality, working closely with the Buyer, Design, Merchandising, Marketing, and Garment Technologist, as well as building strong, collaborative relationships with our trusted and respected manufacturing partners.

The right candidate will bring pace, precision and dedication to excellence, with a strong focus on maintaining the Critical Path and an eye and care for both process and product.

You’ll be responsible for

Product progression and collaboration
  • Support the Buyer in progressing seasonal ranges and individual styles through the full development cycle
  • Work closely with the teams internally and externally on seamless communication from concept to sample and tracking
  • Comfortable briefing and progressing clear product development with our factories and sourcing new product areas within parameters from the Buyer and Design Team
  • Partner with Garment Technologists to resolve technical queries and uphold fit, quality, and specification standards
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising and Operations teams to ensure product imagery, copy and content are aligned for launch and beyond
Critical Path and detail ownership
  • Manage and update the Critical Path, ensuring all key milestones are tracked and met
  • Maintain a sharp focus on accuracy across product details, costings, and sample tracking
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements to support efficiency and product excellence
Factory and supplier relationships
  • Build and nurture positive relationships with our factories and suppliers
  • Support with communication on costings, timelines, and quality expectations to ensure smooth style progression
  • Partner with the Buyer to manage approvals and supplier performance
Product insight and administration, with excellence in communication
  • Assist with range analysis, trading reviews, and product performance insights
  • Support the Buyer in preparing for seasonal sign-offs, fit sessions, and range presentations
  • Keep clear and organised documentation throughout every stage of development and production
About You
  • Experience in an Assistant Buying role within fashion or product development
  • Confident communicator and relationship builder, both internally and externally
  • Organised, proactive, and detail-driven with a clear sense of ownership
  • Strong understanding of product development, production, and critical path management
  • Passionate about product, design, and the impact of every small detail
  • Motivated by working at pace and dedicated to excellence in everything you do
  • A collaborative team player with an adaptable, can‑do attitude
WHAT WE CAN OFFER
  • A chance to be part of a fast‑growing, independent brand that values creativity, collaboration, and care
  • A dynamic and supportive environment where your ideas and initiative make a real difference
  • Salary £30,000 – £32,000 depending on experience
  • 33 days annual leave including bank holidays
  • Pension Scheme
  • Full‑time or 4‑day week considered
  • Opportunities to work across design, development, production, and marketing functions
