The Vet Office is recruiting an ambitious and experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to take their career to the next level.
This role is based in a stand‑alone, well‑established small animal practice located on the outskirts of a vibrant university town, in a busy residential area with on‑site parking and excellent motorway and train links to Nottingham, Leicester, Birmingham, London and the Peak District.

Vets are encouraged to work across a mix of consultations and surgery
, gradually expanding their skillset and comfort zone. The environment is collaborative, with strong communication, daily huddles and a real team ethos.

, supported by RVNs, SVNs, CCAs and an experienced Practice ManagerStrong mentoring culture, including support for recent graduates
Wide and varied medical and surgical caseload

4-day working week (full-time)
1 in 4 Saturday rota (9:00–12:00)
No out‑of‑hours
Part‑time hours considered for the right candidate
Salary up to £70,000 (dependent on experience & FTE)
£2,000 welcome bonus (T&Cs apply)
6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays
