Barker Ross Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced Shift Maintenance Engineers to join a well-established manufacturing and recycling operation based in Loughborough.

This is an excellent opportunity for multi‑skilled engineers who enjoy working hvernig fast‑paced production environment and are passionate about maintaining plant assets to the highest standards.

As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, Overse would be responslei for ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective maintenance of all plant and production equipment. You will play a key role in minimising downtime, responding to breakdown Tore, and supporting production with engineering solutions.

The role is mechanically biased (approx. 60%) with strong electrical capability (approx. 40%).

• Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules
• Responding quickly and effectively to plant and production breakdowns
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Ensuring all amerlan in line with health & safety procedures and safe systems of work
• Promoting excellent housekeeping standards and a "clean as you go" culture
• Communicating effectively during shift handovers to ensure continuity of production
• Identifying critical and day‑to‑day spare parts requirements
• Supporting production teams with engineering‑related issues

• Adhering to all site health & safety Orientation procedures and safe working practices
• Ensuring correct PPE is always used
• Reporting hazards, incidents, or safety concerns promptly

• Proven experience as a Shift Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing, recycling, or industrial environment
