Technical Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Operator to join our East Midlands Gateway (Derby) site for our new contract Tails
. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous production of the product and maintaining equipment and machinery.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday on rotating shifts: 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00
, or Monday to Friday shift from 08:00-16:00
.

• Operate andmonitorproduction machinery to ensure efficient and safe performance
• Perform routine technical maintenance to minimise downtime andmaintainproductivity
• Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to reduce disruption to operations
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks in line with schedules and standards

• Previousexperienceoperatingand maintaining production machinery
• Ability to carry out routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Basic mechanical or technical knowledge relevant to manufacturing equipment
• Good organisational and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Be able to prioritise own workload and work under pressure
