The Role & Who We’re Scouting
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join our squad at Leicester City Football Club. As Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in assisting the Executive Housekeeper with planning, organizing, and Supervising cleaning operation at the Training Ground Facility; assuring the highest degree of cleaning and customer care is always delivered. .
Your responsibilities will include:
* To Supervise the day-to-day activities of the internal & external cleaning teams whilst working within the Housekeeping Department, to include a quality driven cleaning regime and ensure a high degree of cleanliness is maintained in all areas of the Training Ground facility.
* Liaise with other operations departments to ensure a smooth running of day-to-day cleaning.
* To cover Evening Supervisors holidays.
* To take responsibility of the Housekeeping Department to include a quality driven cleaning regime of all offices, washroom / toilets, Hydrotherapy areas, changing rooms, external areas, and associated car parks. Delivering a pristine cleaning service.
* Carry out general cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, emptying bins and removing waste along with any other duties requested by Operations/Housekeeping management.
* Promote the maintenance of a safe environment.
* Deliver instruction, information, and training to all housekeeping operatives ensuring safety in the workplace is effectively maintained.
* Monitor and check works completed by the housekeeping operatives.
* Report any issues regarding performance, staff and attendance to Executive Housekeeper
* Responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Housekeeping department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, ensuring high level standards of cleanliness is maintained
The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in Housekeeping and specifically bring:
* Previous experience within a similar supervisory role.
* Previous experience of working with External contractors.
* Excellent Cleaning skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
* Demonstrates honesty, integrity, reliability, and the ability to ensure confidentiality at all times.
* Be friendly, well organized with the ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure.
* Communication skills to the highest level, listens, interprets and conveys information in a clear and accurate manner, provides timely delivery of information and selects the most appropriate method of communication.
