  • Develop bespoke conversion solutions based on customer specifications, ensuring functional, cost‑effective, and compliant designs.
  • Perform engineering calculations, load assessments, and structural considerations where necessary.
  • Support prototype builds, validating designs through practical testing and real‑world assessment.

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant legislation and industry standards, including VCA, IVA, COC, and OEM guidelines.
  • Maintain a robust understanding of current vehicle legislation to guarantee all designs are compliant before release.

Production & Operational Support

  • Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and aligned with existing processes.
  • Provide engineering support during product build, resolving issues and updating designs where improvements are required.
  • Assist in developing SOPs, BOMs, and technical build instructions.
  • Drive engineering improvements across product lines, focusing on efficiency and product quality.
  • Contribute to R&D initiatives, exploring new materials, methods, and conversion technologies.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Commercial teams to support tenders, quotes, and technical customer requirements.
  • Engage with suppliers to ensure components meet technical, commercial, and quality expectations.
