** Head of Performing Arts
** We are seeking a talented, energetic and passionate Head of Performing Arts to join our talented and vibrant Creatives Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and passionate individual to work alongside a highly committed team within a school that is on a journey to become an Outstanding school with the support the Lionheart Educational Trust. This full-time post will suit an ambitious teacher of the highest quality who will relish the challenge of working with able and articulate students alongside passionate colleagues and be supported by a personalised CPD programme – underpinned by a commitment to staff wellbeing – is also available.
The successful candidate will be a highly effective team player, an excellent teacher and will be committed to raising the aspirations and achievement of all students. You will want to strengthen and help shape the ethos of the department and our school.
All our full-time teachers are expected to act as tutors thereby making a significant contribution to the pastoral care of our students. In addition, the successful applicant will be expected to contribute in some capacity to our extensive extra-curricular programme.
