The Role
A client within the Public Sector based in the East Midlands is recruiting a Stock Condition Surveyor to join their Asset Management Team. The role is a full‑time, temporary position on an ongoing basis. Ideal candidates have experience working within a local authority in a housing asset management environment.
Key responsibilities- Conduct stock condition, HHSRS and related surveys across occupied and void properties, communal areas, garages and commercial buildings.
- Ensure results of surveys are accurately recorded in the asset management system using handheld data capture equipment.
- Produce schedules of work and assist in the preparation and monitoring of work programmes.
- Commission and oversee specialist surveys and ensure results are acted upon.
- Identify and report defects, quality issues, tenancy issues and health and safety concerns.
To be considered for this role you will require experience delivering stock condition surveys, knowledge of HHSRS, and a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
- Experience working within a Local Authority or Housing Association environment.
- Knowledge of building pathology and asset management systems.
- Ability to provide technical advice and produce reports, recommendations and schedules.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and is offering £30 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £23.00 per hour PAYE).
