Do you love keeping people and projects organised, and want your admin skills to directly support children and families?
Are you the go‑to person for sorting diaries, inboxes and “little details” that everyone else forgets?
Looking for a stable, values‑driven role with hybrid working and strong benefits?
If that sounds like you, this Service Administrator role could be exactly what you’re after.
The opportunity
* Join a large, mission‑led children and families service, providing high‑quality admin support to busy operational teams delivering community support.
* Work in a hybrid pattern (office and home), helping to coordinate services, meetings and information that keep everything running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
* Coordinating meetings and events: scheduling, sending invites, preparing papers and taking clear, action‑focused minutes.
* Managing the “engine room” admin: shared inboxes, records, reports, correspondence, and maintaining accurate service information and documentation.
* Supporting service leads with compliance tasks, training coordination and data returns so front‑line colleagues can focus on families.
What you’ll bring
* Solid admin experience, ideally in health, social care, education or charity settings, where confidentiality and accuracy really matter.
* Confident IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, databases) and the ability to juggle competing priorities without dropping the ball.
* A calm, people‑centred approach – you enjoy being the reliable anchor in a busy team environment.
What’s in it for you
* Competitive salary with an enhanced holiday, pension and family‑friendly policies from a large national charity employer.
* Hybrid working with supportive management, clear values and a role where your admin skills directly contribute to better outcomes for children and families.
