Position Summary:
The Bookstore Cashier will manage money and credit card transactions, while assisting a range of customers, including faculty, staff, students, and community members. The role includes general customer service duties, handling merchandise, and performing other tasks as needed.
- Assist customers in the Bookstore
- Ensure cleanliness and order of the store
- Operate cash register
- Answer phone calls
- Process student and department charges
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and stocking merchandise
- Perform other tasks as required by Bookstore Manager

Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience in cashiering
- Strong customer service skills
- Dependable and trustworthy
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be eligible for Work Study

Based from UNM Valencia Campus; work conducted remotely and, when it can be done safely, in person in the UNM‑Valencia Bookstore.
