Pay Range$55,000.00/yr – $85,000.00/yr
Job OverviewThe Clinical Therapist is supervised by the Clinical Supervisor/Director and collaborates with program managers, coordinators, and staff. The therapist provides psychosocial assessment, care coordination, crisis intervention, treatment plan development and monitoring, and individual, group, and/or family therapy for assigned clients. Services may be delivered in office, home‑based, or community‑based settings.
Responsibilities- Conduct psychosocial assessments within 48 hours of admission/assignment.
- Attend treatment team meetings, case reviews, and problem‑solving sessions.
- Consult with agency staff and collateral entities to coordinate services for assigned clients.
- Develop, monitor, and document individualized treatment plans and client progress using DAP format, treatment plans, case notes, and program forms.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy and home‑based services as assigned.
- Attend trainings and supervision as required.
- Maintain professional client records and perform administrative duties (e.g., billing, performance measures).
- Uphold applicable Code of Ethics (e.g., NASW, ACA, APA).
- Be available for 24‑hour crisis intervention as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Pre‑Employment Requirements & Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or Doctorate from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Guidance & Counseling, Psychology, or a related health field; any combination of graduate studies is acceptable.
- At least two years of experience in behavioral health with SED children/families or SMI/SUD/COD adults.
- New Mexico licensure in one or more of the following: LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, PsyD, LMSW, LMHC, LPAT.
- Thorough knowledge and use of community resources.
- Strong interpersonal skills for establishing positive relationships with clients, families, colleagues, staff, and community members.
- Computer literacy to maintain compliance with BHSD standards and requirements for client assessment and data systems.
- Current, valid New Mexico driver’s license with a clean driving record and auto insurance.
- Bi‑lingual/bicultural preference (English/Spanish).
