Food Service Worker

Overview

Under general supervision, the Food Service Worker performs any or all duties associated with setting up and working on a trayline, serving food to residents, washing dishes and/or pots and pans, bussing dishes, preparing food (such as salads, desserts, garnishes) and/or maintaining cleanliness of food service and dining room areas. May assist in putting away stock as needed. May be required to work varying shifts, including morning or evening shifts.

As a representative and team member of dining services, the role is expected to present oneself in a professional manner that ensures resident satisfaction in the dining department.

• Full-time: Friday - Tuesday (11am - 7pm), 5 days
• Part-time: Monday - Wednesday (11am - 7pm), 3 days

• Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour, DOE
• Location: 800 Blossom Hill Rd, Los Gatos, CA 95032

• Required: Previous experience in wait staff, serving, or dining services
• Prior customer service experience
• Prior food service experience in a restaurant
• Prior experience working with seniors (preferred)
• Availability that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
