Overview
Golden State Orthopedics and Spine is a large private orthopedic practice (70+ surgeons) in the San Francisco Bay Area seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to replace a retiring pediatric orthopedist who has practiced in the area for 35 years. The practice plans to expand Pediatric coverage with the help of the new physician, with additional recruitment as required. The practice can develop according to the interests of the new surgeon.
Currently, the practice includes trauma, congenital, neuromuscular, spine, and limb deformity clinics with referrals from within the group and the general community. The role will have clinic time in the East Bay and South Bay areas (Los Gatos and Walnut Creek). The two primary hospitals are community hospitals with strong pediatric specialty coverage, level III NICUs, PICU, and a Level II Trauma Center, all supported by pediatric anesthesia.
Competitive compensation with bonus structure, with the expectation that the surgeon will become a partner in this large practice with approximately 70 physicians, and multiple group-owned surgery centers with opportunity for ownership and ancillary income.

Hospital Affiliations: Work at two state-of-the-art Level II trauma hospitals, known for exceptional patient care. Ortho Trauma operating room on hold for fracture service daily.

Compensation:
