– Job Requirements and Duties
You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards, as well as access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery. You should possess customer service skills, navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and the ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
Drivers also help with inside tasks periodically such as food preparation and cleaning. (General Job Duties for All Team Members)
Must be licensed in the US for at least the last 2 years and be able to prove licensed driving history. You must be an insured driver on the insurance policy for the vehicle. Vehicle must be registered.
Pay$16.78 per hour, plus tips and mileage
GeneralJob Duties for All Team Members
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler. Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility daily.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication Skills- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator acceptable).
- Make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands to perform precise movements with speed.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks. In-store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler areas to 90°F and above in some work areas. Sudden temperature changes, fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces up to 500°F or higher, and sharp edges or moving parts.
Sensory and Temperament Requirements- Speaking and hearing on the telephone; near and mid-range vision; depth perception; ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
- The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, interact with people, analyze data, and make judgments.
- Standing:
Most tasks are performed standing. - Walking:
Short distances for short durations; surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum; work surface heights 36–48 inches. - Sitting:
Paperwork is typically done at a desk. - Lifting:
Deliveries and ingredients up to 50 pounds; cases stacked to 72 inches high. - Carrying:
Cans up to 3 lb 7 oz; occasional 30 lb pizza sauce; pizza dough trays ~12 lb each. - Pushing:
Move trays on dollies; force up to 7.5 pounds. - Climbing:
Rarely navigate stairs or ladders for price changes or maintenance. - Stooping / Bending:
Repeated bending at assembly and stocking areas. - Crouching / Squatting:
Occasional to stock shelves and clean low areas. - Reaching:
Continuous reaching; occasional above 72 inches to operate ovens or change prices; other tasks include scooping cornmeal, cleaning, and answering phones. - Hand Tasks:
Continuous use of hands; handling dough, pizza peel, cutters, boxes, and other tools. - Machines, Tools, Equipment:
Pencils, pens, computers, calculators, pizza cutter, pizza peel, and other standard tools.
