Dispatcher, Transportation

Ascending Eagle is looking for Dispatchers who are proactive, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.

• Manage daily dispatch operations for employee drivers.
• Schedule and dispatch freight shipments using Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Monitor fleet operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate data entry for shipments, including tracking information and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs.
• Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to analyze routes for efficiency.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely handling of goods.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve transit issues.
• Maintain real-time accuracy in TMS and GPS dispatch systems (Samsara).
• Monitor load statuses in our routing system (Maxoptra).
• Ensure compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) and Logbook regulations.
• Generate and manage dispatch-related reports.
• Partner with the Sales team to meet or exceed client expectations.
• Attend team meetings and meet performance KPIs consistently.
