The Transportation Driver will work under the supervision of the transportation captain and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production vehicles to transport crew, equipment, and actors to and from filming locations. This role is crucial for maintaining the schedule and ensuring all parties are safely delivered to the film set. Vehicles may include cube trucks, passenger vans, stake beds, flatbeds, limousines, and cars.
Key Responsibilities- Operate production vehicles safely and professionally.
- Transport crew, equipment, and talent to various filming locations according to the established schedule.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment as needed.
- Communicate with the transportation captain and crew regarding logistics and potential issues.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws.
